为加强中国英语写作教学与研究，搭建高层次学术交流与合作平台，由中国英语写作教学与研究专业委员会主办，南京大学外国语学院承办，外语教学与研究出版社和高等教育出版社协办，第11届全国英语写作教学与研究国际研讨会将于2018年10月12日至10月15日在中国南京举行。会议欢迎与二语写作教学与研究相关的各类话题研讨。

本届会议主题设为“二语写作中的身份”。当前，我国学习者的英语写作能力依然薄弱；如何运用语言构建作者身份，进一步有效参与国际社会文化交流，迫切需要学界同仁从多学科理论和实践视角，协力探究二语写作者身份，二语写作教师身份，以及写作教学领域和研究领域的共同发展。真诚欢迎广大学者积极参与，踊跃投稿。

The 2018 International Conference on Teaching and Researching EFL Writing will be organized by Nanjing University on October 12-15, 2018. The Conference Organizing Committee seeks proposals for 30-minute presentations (including 10-minute questions and discussions) that address various topics within the broad field of second language writing. Any topic related to second language writing theory, research, or teaching is welcome.

The conference theme is "Identity in Second Language Writing ." We particularly encourage proposals that address issues related to writer identity, writing teacher identity, as well as the field identity of second language writing.

Notification of acceptance: April 30, 2018

Conference time: October 12-15, 2018 (Oct 12 for registration; Oct13-14 for presentations)

Proposals must include three parts:

1) 500-word abstract for peer review by a panel of experts

 

2) 50-word summary for use in the program book

• ŸReferences are not necessary; keep the in-text citation to the minimum
• ŸUse the same language (either English or Chinese) for abstract and presentation
• ŸMultiple submissions are allowed, but the same person cannot be listed as the first author for more than one proposal

 

3) Bios of presenters

• ŸWrite on a separate page
•  Include title, name, affiliation, research interest, and contact details
