Ken Hyland
Ken Hyland is Professor of Applied Linguistics in education at the University of East Anglia. He was a professor at UCL and the University of Hong Kong and has taught in Africa, Asia and Europe. He is best known for his research into writing and academic discourse, having published over 280 articles and 29 books on these topics with 65,000 citations on Google Scholar. A collection of his work was published by Bloomsbury in 2018. Ken was editor of JEAP and Applied Linguistics, edits two book series with Bloomsbury and Routledge, and is a Visiting professor at Jilin University, China.
