Michael A. Peters

Michael A. Peters is a distinguished professor of Education at Beijing Normal University, an emeritus professor at the University of Illinois & #40;Urbana-Champaign& #41;, and an honorary senior research fellow at the University of Auckland. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Education Philosophy and Theory, The Beijing International Review of Education & #40;with Prof. Zhu& #41; and the author/editor of over 100 books and 500 articles. He is a lifetime member of the NZ Academy of Humanities and was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of New Zealand in 2008.
